"The only reason I don't give this place a lower score is it's well-placed near the Market and, surprisingly, the bed was really comfy. So if that is the bare minimum and all you need, you're sorted. Otherwise, no amenities, filthy and run down, room smelling more of smoke than smoking-only business hotels in Japan, no fan or air conditioning, door handles that are barely hanging on after clearly being wrenched from both sides... It just feels unsafe and unclean. Definitely a place for a rough...

"Stayed on a solo trip for a week. First time In Australia and I found the hostel was a good fit for me I had the private room with en suite bathroom which was nice. It’s perfect for a solo traveler or a couple."

"Very convient hostel right outside Flinder's street station and within walkable distance to most of the city attractions. Very friendly staff and good amenities. The private curtains were very good for being able to have your own space as well."
