"Our first impression of the resort was positive, but once we settled in and spent more time on the property, we quickly realized the overall experience was underwhelming. The cleanliness of the rooms could definitely be improved. The floors felt dirty, and there was noticeable dust underneath the bed. The property overall needs bettermaintenance and updates, as there were several areas of visible damage, including holes and other issues throughout the resort. We also experienced indoor flooding...

"I dislike that we had to go change into formal/casual just to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in some restaurants. Our room was not near to some restaurants. So have to leave the pool to go change and then come back was the only thing i disliked"

"Sandos was an okay resort, the water activities like kayaks and paddle boards were extra so that was a surprise as I assume these would be included. We had 2/5 restaurants closed while visiting for our last 2 days with no notice so I would ask about that also while staying. Overall was clean and staff was very friendly."

"So we were debating between the beach access room and the reef view room. We are a couple with child and eventually we took the more expensive reef view. The room itself is big and luxurious and it is right in front of the reef with a ladder to a great snorkel. However we decided to downgrade to the beach access room a bit smaller but much closer to the pool to breakfast and to the kids club which worked better for us"

We were visiting during Dia de los Muertos. The reef club made it very special with unbelievable decorations and employee Catrina contest. Laura gave the best birthday massage."
