"Queenstown House was an amazing Bed and Breakfast. Great spot with beautiful views! The staff was amazing, friendly, very warm, and very welcoming. Everywhere was very walkable and accessible. Quiet from hustle and bustle from town but close enough to walk to town. My fiancé and I can’t wait to have our honeymoon there and bring our family to stay after some time to ourselves. I’ll recommend this lovely B&B to anyone and everyone! "

"Absolutely loved our stay at the Fern & Thistle Hotel in Balclutha! The historic charm of the house is beautifully preserved, with a stunning vintage garden full of old roses and unique plants. The amenities are outstanding—from the cozy dry sauna in a barrel cabin to the luxurious hot tubs (one in the room and a massive one in the garden). The countryside views add a peaceful touch, and the complimentary drinks and local beer were a generous bonus. Our room had a super king-size bed and Netflix...

"Stayed 2 nights in the lovely large Tahi room. Enjoyed sitting by the window looking at the lake & mountain view. Breakfast was lovely too, thanks chef. Friendly hosts. Thx Wendy & David We had a car but bus stop into town very close by up the driveway. Ate in town & at ‘Lokal’ Fernhill…Tasty meals - loaded pizza & roast veggie salad. "
