"Te Mahuru Tetreat is a jewel in Kaikoura’s crown. A perfect location, easy to get to and not far out of Kaikōura itself. The accommodation provides a high standard of facilities and is immaculate. It provided everything we need for our stay and the use of the hot tub and do some star gazing is phenomenal - a must if you are staying at Te Mahuru Retreat. "A lovely location, a short walk away from the breathtaking views of Lake Te Anau and beyond. The room was lovely and the staff were lovely! As it was off season, we were the only ones on site for the duration of our stay. There was laundry on site, a nice and airy living/common space, the kitchen was available for most of the day, so you could borrow cutlery and plates as required, use the communal fridge if you needed. The staff were so kind too, happy to help you plan your day or find your way...
