While the location is slightly out of the way in terms of walking to major shopping or getting to Kyoto Station, everything else is on point. The room is spacious, very clean, and everything just works. With only 4 suites on our and, even being a middle floor, it was very quiet. Taxis were usually only a couple of minutes away and a major road a couple of blocks away meant easy access to busses. A huge bonus: in-suite washer-dryer that actually dried the clothes! Daily clean clothes makes everything easier! Staff were always friendly and helpful. A great first stay in Kyoto!
