"Staff was very friendly. We requested extra pillows and blankets our first night and they got them to us within 10 minutes. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. The free breakfast was very nice (although we would have liked bacon on one of the days we were there instead of sausage everyday, not a complaint, just a suggestion.) "This property is far superior to most Residence Inn sites. It looks like it was previously a mid to high end property. I think it may even be better than it's sister property, Marriott, across the street; it also has better amenities, like free breakfast and cheaper parking fees."

"Our stay at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar was comfortable and convenient. The property is beautifully landscaped and feels upscale without being pretentious. The room was clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere, and a pleasant view.
