"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Things we loved: - Close to shopping and eateries - Decently close to other attractions/areas - Room was clean and comfortable - Continental breakfast had decent options - Friendly and helpful staff Areas of improvement: - Room's fridge didn't work very well - TV was not usable with whatever service they use. Could be fixed with smart TVs and streaming services. - Every morning before 8am, an obnoxiously loud blue FL5 Civic Type R entered and exited the parking lot (seemed to be an employee's family member dropping them off) - Pool was apparently under repair - When booking on Expedia, there didn't seem to be a way to indicate we were bringing our dogs which requires an additional $40/night. Be sure to call them after booking and indicate you will have dogs. Regardless of these issues, it's easy to still recommend Mariposa. We wouldn't hesitate to book again."

Parking is right outside your room which is ideal. The location is great as it’s a quick walk to the Del Monte outdoor mall and an easy 8 minute drive to the main attractions of both Monterey and Carmel. For a budget-friendly inn, it was perfect."
