"Casa Villamar was perfect in every aspect. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. Great location just 2 blocks away from the Malecon which gives a feeling of privacy, yet close enough to the action if you want it. As far as I'm concerned, the best compliment about a hotel is that you feel comfortable and at home which Casa Villamar did for me. I booked for next year before I left. Also, the restaurant, Sano Bistro, provides a healthy and innovative menu for breakfast and lunch. "

We were not there for business and initially wondered what we would do each day with only the mall in walking distance. The front desk connected us with a great taxi driver. We were able to go to the WTA tennis tournament, go sightseeing and take day trips every day. "
