"Room was lovely and comfy. Very clean wth en-suite, shower with amenities, towels body/shower gel, conditioner, hand cream and soap. Comfy double bed, the room had a coffee machine, kettle, fan and hairdryer. 32 inch TV suitable for room size. Complimentary breakfast more of a continental style but not fully. Teas, coffees, cereals, fruit, small selection of juices and toaster and microwave. Host was on hand to make hot drinks and toast, very hospitable and friendly. Guest are welcome to help...

"Beautiful apartment so close to the centre but in a really quiet area. We stayed for a week and didn’t use the car once. Perfect location. Handy to have a parking spot. The apartment was clean and spacious and fully equipped. Would recommend."

Excellent communication from owner Catherine when I enquired about leaving the car there before check in time as we were attending York Races.Catherine arranged early check in and advised on taxis to the Races. The whole B&B is very tastefully decorated with very high quality everywhere beds are an absolute dream! Breakfast is outstanding freshly cooked beautifully presented and top quality! This is a working farm with calves loving life and Betty the cat...

"I had a fantastic stay at The Apple House. The hosts and staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful with anything I needed. In particular, as I have celiac disease, it can sometimes be hard finding places willing or able to accommodate for a gluten-free diet. Not so with The Apple House folks, who made sure to make me a wonderful gluten-free breakfast each morning which was delicious, filling and didn’t leave me with any problems later on. "I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! "
