The good news, the location is great - close to the most wonderful shopping. Valet parking was also a treat. Every member we met wasn't just attentive but seemed genuinely concerned with making our stay as pleasant and trouble free as possible. My endearing memory will be the smiles of every one of them we met. You should be proud of them."

"Wonderful old property. Breakfast was great. The hotel has beautiful features. The staircase inside is gorgeous. Lots of stairs so be prepared. The bar is fun and food good. Can’t beat the location if coming by train. Town is at your door, easily one of the most walkable location. Friendly welcoming staff."

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"Hotel was clean, unfortunately our room was located by the cleaners room so it was pretty noisy early on also lots of noise from other guests early in the morning. We were also located right above the bar/restaurant so from around 6am we could hear noise from there. Staff were friendly at reception and rooms were comfortable"
