"Everything was as you would expect. The club… is it worth it? Just about, but we didn’t eat there for dinner - no atmosphere. Things to be improved: 1. Allowing people to leave their towels on a sun lounger who then disappear for 1/2 the day. 2. The parasailing company that operates next to the hotel on the beach - they drive their jet skis way too fast and way too close those in the water. "

"We stayed at Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun and overall had a good experience. The resort was clean, quiet, and the greenery around the property was beautiful. A few downsides stood out. Pool chairs were taken by 7 AM every morning, making it tough to enjoy the pool unless you got up early. The food was good but not great—lots of options, just nothing especially memorable. "We had to move after 2 nights b/c they were doing construction outside our door. The 1st night in the 2nd place a woman let herself into our room with the key, saying she booked it through airbnb. She’s been given the wrong info. 2 days later we couldn’t use the balcony b/c they were power washing right above it. Our stovetop has electrocuted me multiple times even though I was very careful after the 1st time. Our 5th night the microwave lit on fire. 2 security guys came to to try to find out...

"A wonderful time spent at the SMC resort. On this trip we didn't do the spa. It was a bit noisy than we're use to but we still had a relaxing time. We stayed as preferred club and not only was the service excellent in preferred but all over the resort. We cannot complain about the meals or our drinks and watching the entertainment outdoors under the moon and stars made it special. One drawback is they try to sell you timeshare but they did not pressure us when we declined. So thumbs up for SMC."

"Clean, beautiful, only adults hotel; old but well-maintained. Small, but if you need more amenities, you can use the sibling hotel next door. Be ready for craziness with kids and family all over the place. "

"This resort is in dire need of renovation. The room was basis. The couch had stains. No shower door to prevent water from getting everywhere. The toilet had low pressure. Took at least 3 flushes to get anything down. The pool looked nice. The restaurant was pretty good. Just slow service. This resort is primarily for Spanish speaking guests. It was low cost. Not all inclusive. "
