Hotel di Tasik Emerald

"Seems like it would be a nice enough place to stay with the family for a vacation getaway right on a lake. However, we were traveling across I-80 and just needed a place to stay overnight. This was a ways off the highway, so it required some extra driving to get there. The room was okay. It's an old motel that has been renovated but still seems a little tired."

"We ended up not staying the night. There was no on site staff. The room was cold, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water was ice cold, even after running for 10 or so minutes, as the contact person told us to do. We booked the room with the hot tub, which wasn’t usable, so they put us in a room with a jacuzzi tub, not the same thing. Lastly there was a fitted sheet on the bed, but no top sheet under the comforter, which didn’t feel like luxury bedding as...

"Check in was easy. Friendly staff. Cute place. Looks like an older home with common areas that you're welcome to use. I booked the twin bed room and it was clean and comfortable. Exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay. Pictures of rooms and the grounds were accurate. The only thing that I wish was different was the rug in the room. I wouldve preferred tile or wood. However I would still stay here again if Im ever in the area. Also close to town, shops, restaurants."

"Came here with my 3 children. Nice clean rooms and loved that there was a restaurant and heated pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can even make s’mores outside. Will make this place an annual visit with my family."

"Fantastic hotel. Everything was clean , and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel shows it age, but they do a great job keeping everything up to date. Breakfast was your traditional continental breakfast, but tasted great and fresh. The pool was warm and I enjoyed that they keep it open until 10pm. I was able to take a quick dip after dinner. The pool is a heated as well."

"Quaint. The quality of furnishings was clean, but flimsy & minimal. We rented a Queen Suite and there is NO AC & NO Thermostat in the room. We sweated all night. This is a bridal venue? Who rents a suite with NO AC, even though AC is advertised in the hotel's ads? We called maintenance but he had no idea how the AC (which didn't exist) nor how the heat was controlled. At 11PM they offered to move us to another room with AC. At 11PM?! Then I asked the front desk to comp us some amount for a very...
