"Difficult to rate. Initially the property felt tired and busy but it grew on us over our 4 day stay and there is a lot to like about it. Relatively good value and the food offerings aren’t overpriced and service charges are shown inclusive in menus which made it easier. I think the cheaper Forrest rooms are better and I don’t think I would want to pay for the superior sea view ones as they were closely spaced and not as good in reality as pictures. "

"Wonderful resort with great staff and very high overall standard of facilities. Like many tropical resorts, you can see staff are fighting a constant battle against the elements with humidity, sea air, and heat creating wear and tear. The standard of the room was high (Island view room) and general cleanliness good. Lobby, Pelangi Bar and adult pool stand out features along with sweeping sea views and direct access to the beach. "Absolutely fabulous hotel on a beautiful beach and the lovely pool area. All the staff were lovely & friendly. Our room was on the 5th floor looking over the pool & beach, the views are stunning. Our room was huge, the bathroom had the best bath/shower area I’ve ever seen with views over the bay ! We tried the 3 different restaurants and all were good. All positive except one: there was a cigar smoking room next to the main bar which made the area smell of smoke, so unpleasant we couldn’t use...

"This hotel has a fantastic location right across the street from the center of the main beach. Rooms are basic but clean. Right next to a small local mall with a lot of decent restaurants and some drug stores. Only drawback is it gets noisy at night sometime, although it all dies off by around midnight. Definitely easy to recommend to those who want a good location at a reasonable price. Cheers all."
