Top Kyoto Museum for World Peace Hotel Reviews
Onyado Nono Kyotoshichijo Natural Hot Springs
10/10 Excellent
"Me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights and we absolutely loved it. They store luggage if you arrive early and also if you’re checking out and need it to be stored while you explore the city while leaving. I’m pretty sure I noticed luggage transport facilities too but we didn’t use that. From the moment we checked in, everything was great and it just kept getting better as the stay went on. The staff was very polite and friendly and explained everything really well from all the facilities they offer to how to enjoy them. They even offer ramen in the night to the guests, which we felt was a good comfort food and we tried it on our second night after returning tired from a day of exploring the city. They have massage chairs near their hot springs area as well. Definitely recommend!"
Ryokan Yamazaki
10/10 Excellent
"My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Ryokan Yamazaki, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful from checking us in, to making sure we ate and helping to order us cabs. We loved staying at a traditional style Japanese home, and the location was up in the north west area of Kyoto away from the crowds and tourists which we appreciated, and the beauty of the mountains and neighborhoods. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a traditional Japanese stay."
Agora Place Kyoto Nijo
8/10 Good
"The Agora place is a no frills but relaxed hotel. There are amenities on the ground floor that are all you need. The room was a reasonable size and very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a large supermarket very close. The hotel is close to the Nijo castle and Imperial palace and an easy walk to bus stops and metro station with direct access to Kyoto station. My room was quiet but the hotel is situated on a busy noisy road."
La'gent Hotel Kyoto Nijo
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel at a great location."
Ben's Guesthouse Kyoto
8/10 Good
"It was overall a really good place to stay, there's a washing machine and the only way to dry clothes is with some dryer integrated into the shower, it takes a while, other than that it was great."

Ryokan Tori
10/10 Excellent
"We were warmly welcomed by our hosts. Was a real treat to experience their bath and tea ceremony. Breakfast was traditional and tasty and my partner’s vegetarian alternative was just as thoughtfully put together and delicious. Location was a little way out from the main sights, however, this was better as we were in a charming neighbourhood with many authentic buildings and character away from the busy tourist areas. We chose this ryoken based on a friend’s recommendation and I would highly recommend staying here if you want to experience staying in traditional accommodation and experience Japanese hospitality."
