Excellent value. Location is somewhat convenient. We weren’t looking for a big city feel. The nearest train station was about 7 min walk and connect us to everything. We walked mostly, even to Gion (about an hour) but we like to explore new city that way. Didn’t get to use the public amenities but the room is comfortable albeit smaller. We stayed for 4 nights and loved that there is a 7-11 across the street;)

Mom traveling with two teenagers. The room was quiet, clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, I gave it a 4 because the room was tiny! It was nice to have three actual beds (not a pullout), but there were no drawers and little space to set items down. There was no unpacking of the suitcases, so if you’re ok with that, this room is tight, but manageable.

I purposefully chose this hotel because it was away from the hustle and bustle. It was in a much quieter area. The proximity to the train was literally across the street and a supermarket right next to it. For me spending a few hours in Shibuya and Shinjuku is over stimulating and there are just too many people so coming back to quiet neighborhood was nice . I did not want to go to Disney but a lot of people that did want to go would stay there too. The breakfast was great something for everyone .

I actually had 2 bookings at this hotel therefore I ended up staying in two different rooms. The check-in was fast, the front desk employees were polite, helpful and accommodating. Both rooms were spotless, and had hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is a free coffee machine, pitcher with a cold matcha drink, teabags, and amenities stand. A/C in both rooms was working just fine. There is an additional city tax of 400 Yen ($2.50 or so) collected at check-in and Expedia did mention it. I do not know why some people think that this is a rip-off. Location-wise, the hotel is 9 min walk from the nearest subway station and a large grocery store, there is also 7-11 across the street. I had a very pleasant stay.
