The pool bar (great view) stops serving at 8pm so that’s another downer but the room would’ve been $800 a night in any other city."

"What a wonderful stay at the Carlton. Outstanding rooms, perfect location, friendly staff, excellent food, and a great chef by the name of Ming. I hope I got the name correct. We extended our stay for 2 more nights and after a 3 day trip to Hua Hin we have just re-booked the Carlton for our last 3 nights in Thailand. We will be back next year for sure. "
