"Very run down rooms, that are not very clean. We did kill the cockroach room mate, so that made things a little better. But my biggest complaint was the absence of a trained hotel staff to check in our freind who arrived after ten pm. The older security guard did his best, but had no access to the computer system, did not understand that one could pre pay with a online booking service, and with our limited Thai he ran out of patience. "The breakfast was good and adequate selection. The room was clean and I had a good rest. My only issue was that I was charged when I asked for ice in the room for a pain in my neck due to an accident I had on my third day there and had muscle spasm. They gave me a bucket when I needed only a few to put in a plastic bag to make into an ice pack. The hotel should have an ice pack as first aid kit."

"1st time here at this hotel. I chose it for proximity to DMK airport. There are renovations happening right now, the main front entrance and walking bridge are closed. It is an easy 200m walk across the road. The surprise is you get offered free shuttle to airport! Breakfast is amazing, both western and Thai. Beds and linen super clean and fresh.you can fly to BKk and get airport shuttle to DMK and walk 200m across the road. I cant believe it has taken me so long to work this easy travel and fabulous hotel combination out! I recommend Amira hotel for anyone who is not looking for price but convenience."

"Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Extremely accommodating for our group of six. The location worked very well for us and I felt safe as a foreigner walking around the area. The lobby and pool area provided a nice area for our family in the area to gather with us during our stay. Cons: I felt like the pictures made it look a little better than it was, but the staff and overall experience more than made up for it and I would stay there again. There was a sewage odor (not overwhelming, but there) which seemed to be coming up from a drain in our bathroom. That said, it wasn't enough to complain and I really didn't want to knock stars over it because it was clean and I just can't say enough about how wonderful and accommodating the staff were. Bottom line: I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. It was fair for the price, affordable, clean, and accommodating."

"My stay at Novotel Bangkok Impact was really nice and comfortable. I have to give all my praise to the lovely staff members. Starting from check in till check out they were so friendly even helped me adjust my stay according to my flight time. The breakfast was so diverse and i loved how each day i got a different menu. I was stayinh there as i had a concert in Thunderdome. There is easy sky walk from the hotel to thunderdome which made it so easier for me. Theres many food,drinks,coffee shops around as well as 7 eleven. I highly recommend this."
