"Of the 4 hotels we stayed at while in Japan, this was by far the nicest and had several restaurants. It is very close to the train station so convenient. The grounds are beautiful; there is a river outside the hotel so very nice. The hotel staff spoke better English than any of the other hotels which was nice as well. Shibata Yasuhiko was excellent and so accommodating."

"Carpet is dirty in the elevators. The carpet is worn on the stairs. It’s good value and comfortable."

You could get complimentary ice cream at night and Yakut in the morning. Also, parking was relatively limited"

"I was a bit worried leading up to the trip about how to get there but they had some pretty good instructions on their website. They have a free shuttle that comes to the Shuzenji station about every hour or 2 (timetable is on their site) so all you need to worry about it getting to Shuzenji station which you can figure out using Google Maps.
