Top Gensei no Mori Forest Hotel Reviews

Hakone Hotel

Hakone Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean enough. While looking for my cell phone, I happened to peer under and between the beds and it wasn’t very clean. The amenities were nice and the in-room teabags and coffee were good. The free drinks in the guest lounge were quite good. The location is very quiet so be aware that dinner options will be quite limited. Breakfast options are also non-existent except at the hotel. The room itself is very spacious but some of the fixtures are a bit dated. They were clean and in good condition though. The best part about my stay was the view from my room (404) which afforded me a straight-on look across Lake Ashi, Unfortunately Mother Nature didn’t cooperate (clouds, fog and rain most of the time) but it was still a beautiful and peaceful stay nonetheless. Quite the respite from busy cities!"
