"Exactly as one would expect -no frills but adequate. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Service excellent. Rooms could do with upgrading as could cleanliness. Worth the money if you’re looking for a quick one night stay. Parking and charging fine. Tesco across the street a bonus."
"Great room, friendly staff, lively pub/venue downstairs with live music, great location with very close walking distance to the harbour & only around a 10min walk from the beach, right opposite a JD Weatherspoons (if that's your kind of thing!).

"Everything excellent. Beautiful, comfy, spacious accommodation, with a lovely patio outside room. Staff ALL very friendly and helpful. Food excellent (dinner & breakfast). Pretty, peaceful location with nice walks. Could not fault. Highly recommend."
"Everything was really lovely about the staff, services and food. My room was more than adequate, I would only ask that hotels provide a box of tissues, very helpful. The fan provided did a good job in the hot temperatures we had. I would highly recommend this hotel, where you are made very comfortable, my grandchildren loved the pool."

"The room was ensuite and well equipped and we found the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options. We had the full English breakfast and were delighted with the high quality of the bacon etc. The swimming pool was heated and was available from early morning to late evening. The host -Craig - was always very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again whenever visiting that area of Devon. "
