The staff at this hotel /pub/ restaurant was outstanding
I don’t write lots of reviews but they went above and beyond for me and nothing was to much trouble , the hotel was a nice hotel , food /drink was excellent overall well done to them
Lovely pub and rooms. We had a wonderful time. Friendly staff and an obvious family style atmosphere among the staff and locals.
Only issue was it was so busy we couldn’t stay as long as we hoped in the pub, or eat as often in there- book ahead for food!
Would have given a five star rating if the food was better organised. The food was excellent but the main dinner menu was missing several options, as they had run out. There was little available for non red meat eaters. Also the excellent waitress had to inform each group of diners what was not available. This took some time. Maybe the changes could have been included on a revamped menu. Accommodation was good but the external lighting needs some attention. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
