"Great 2 night stay, slight issue with Expedia which Tony sorted out for us swiftly, great service and a fantastic room, luxurious pillows and bedding/mattress so slept so well and didn’t hear any outside noise. The room has loads of technology if you want to use it. The aircon was a great extra and was lovely and quiet.The breakfast was really good, loads of choice and quality food. "The room was very nice. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. "

"Great Guest House! Owner was very professional and took the time to highlight key areas on a map for us. The room was clean and very well kept. The key tourist areas of York were all within walking distance. I would highly recommend Vikings Guest House to anyone looking to stay in York."

"This was a very cute bed and breakfast and the host was beyond helpful. I really can't say enough good things about him! We unfortunately were not able to have breakfast as they don't start serving until 9 and we needed to be on our way for the day by 9 :) The room was clean, although the bathroom could have been cleaner. "Staff friendly and efficient, despite having a large but very well behaved french school party. My double room was "cozy" and would have been a squeeze for two people with 18 in bed/wall clearance one side and 30 in bed/sloping wall the other. Ok for single occupation. Access to the room was a maze."
