"One of those fabulous guest houses one wishes to return to. We were made to feel very welcome and even managed a stolen few hours reading in the garden. Breakfast was a treat and guests spoiled for choice. Homemade sausages, bagels and waffles, all worth a try and perfect poached eggs cooked to order! Location was great for walking into town and parking made it the perfect location for a busy graduation. "

"I wish I could give 100/10. The Burton Stone Inn has the kindest staff—George and Aaron were two standouts. They were helpful and welcoming. The location was prime as it was tucked into a quieter area but an easy scenic stroll to everything! The room was cute and everything we could need! I’ll be recommending this Inn to everyone—and will be sure to be back! "

"Cannot rate the staff, this is a self service hotel, but it’s really easy, you’ll get a couple of codes the day of your stay. The hotel is right in the heart of the shambles, as a tourist that’s exactly the area where you want to be. The hotel is like nothing that you ever have experienced before, I can guarantee it. Without spoiling your experience I will tell you that my hard-to-please teenager was flabbergasted with the experience, he said it’s in his top 5 hotels in the world. "

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "
