"Excellent breakfast, helpful staff and awesome pillows"

"This property has been on a steady decline. 1st floor ice maker has been "out of order" for over a year now. Remote power button didn't work, toilet seat shifted, chair in the room was leaning to one side as if it could break at any wrong move. Children had stayed in this room, and Stickers were stuck in the carpet. What was once a fair priced decent place to stay, has become a property in need of renovations. "We were in Frederick, MD for our date night without the little one. Booked this place for the night and thought there would be a hot-tub, but was informed that it is closed permanently. So that was a little disappointing. Staff there were super helpful and friendly. The building is overall maintained nicely in the public area, but our room has a peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Overall clean and comfortable, and pretty reasonable for a stay."

"The bathroom was not clean on arrival- dirty sink, trash not empty, empty tissue box - the decaf and hot water at the breakfast set up were not hot - in fact I suspect the decaf coffee was stored overnight in the fridge - it wasn’t room temp -it was ice cold. The main restaurant was very slow - there was one other table when we arrived and it took 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The waitress said there was only 1 cook - I was a professional chef -I’ve served over 180 people in one dinner shift by myself"

"Checked in and went to room. Came back down in 10 min to use the pool and it was closed for maintenance. We specifically booked here to use pool and have a breakfast provided. Went to front desk and was told because we went to the room and cleaning staff went home for the day, she could not refund us for the night so we could find somewhere else with working amenities. So we stayed but received no compensation. Not how I think it should have been handled. "

"Very clean property, room. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast wasn’t continental but a big breakfast, complete! Pancakes, eggs, sausage cereal, pastries, fruit! Well worth the price."
