"I would like to give this place 5 stars. But can’t - The place was nice very colonial & clean. The restaurant had very good food & great view. The big problem was they had no heat. We froze our butts off at night. 64 degrees in our room & never went any higher. The thermostat didn’t even work. The staff said the place only has either air or heat. So they still had the air running. Blowing down on our heads in bed all night. I slept with my hoodie on & was still very cold. Would not go back....

"It was perfect for our one night stay. I was worried about the self check-in (haven't ever done it before, and it required downloading an app). However, when we arrived there was a person there who checked us in. The room and bathroom were very clean! No complaints about the room, except (and this is not a big deal) the room could use a couple of pictures (very bare walls). We were thinking a couple of pics of the Watkins/Finger Lakes area would add a little warmth to the room). The Inn is conveniently located in the middle of Watkins Glen. We had some time the next day before leaving, and walked around the village. We would definitely stay there again!!"

"It's nothing fancy from the outside but the room was great! It was a large room with vaulted wood paneled ceiling. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. "Liked the location of the property - close to Horseheads restaurants, etc.. Like others have posted, it can be a little difficult to locate in the dark, but once you've figured that out it's fine. Staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help out. The room was clean and everything functioned well. The fitness center isn't an actual fitness center, but if you need that you can make the short trek to Horseheads Planet Fitness. About a 20–25-minute trip to wineries at the south end of Seneca Lake. A no-frills Inn, but definitely worth the money and will definitely stay here again."
