"We LOVED our stay at The Screen. The room was a wonderful size, beautifully decorated, with a sliding door separating the bed from the couch area. The staff was incredibly helpful and thoughtful- we felt like they personalized our stay with origami in the bedroom and a note on our breakfast platters the final day. The area was amazing! Close to the park and buses, only a 10 minute walk from the metro line, and 15 minutes from amazing shopping and dining options. 10/10 would stay there again!! "

Two layers of double-pane glass dampen the road noise to an acceptable level for us and was outweighed by the convenience of the location, so much within walking distance. Staff were eagerly helpful. "I would pick the hotel again. Location was good. Our room was big (for Japan). They give you many goodies. Breakfast was delicious. Price was very good. It may be a new-ish hotel. The rooms certainly seem new. The hotel is a block away from the metro (3 stops from Kyoto station) on a quiet side street. There are many restaurants in the area and two 7-11s nearby (for snacks, etc). The hotel breakfast is across the street which could be inconvenient with bad weather. The food was...

"Hotel is modern and located right at a subway stop (4 stops or 7 minutes to Kyoto train Station). Walking distance to Imperial Palace and the gardens. Quick taxi or subway rides to other sites. We had a courtyard facing room which was very quiet. There are blackout drapes so the room stays dark in the morning. Room is modern with a nice shower and fairly comfortable beds. They provide umbrellas in the lobby that can be borrowed for rain days."

"This was probably the nicest Hilton I've stayed in. The room was great, clean, modern, total black-out, well appointed. The restaurant options were great. We tried the rooftop, it was fine but the views weren't great. Definitely recommend it. "
