"Not like other hotels in SO many good ways: - Greeted by Ursula like we were long lost family. - She brought in her son Lorenzo to check us in because he’s awesome. - This is a guest house, not a hotel. We had the full run of the fully stocked kitchen 24/7. - According to Lorenzo, whatever we wanted anytime was “OK”. And it was. Except that it was actually great. - Right outside our window was the ruins of the Area Sacra di Largo Argentina. Yes, the actual site of Julius Caesar’s murder....

The bottom portion, which closely resembles the Colosseum, was built in about 13 BC, and are the ruines of an ancient Roman open-air theater.
