"This inn is in a very convenient location- itโ€™s very central. Easy cab or Uber ride from the station, or easy enoigh to take a bus. 5 minutes from Kenrokuen. Be aware this is a Japanese style inn with shared toilet facilities and a shared Japanese style bathroom. The shower / bath is open each evening but not in the morning. The bathroom door does lock so you do have privacy. The innkeeper and family live on site and are very welcoming and friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage for a short time after check out. They were also helpful witj specific restaurant recommendations. If you want a genuine Japanese ryokan"
