"It was a beautiful period room, the pub downstairs looked amazing, we got in quite late so it had stopped serving food sadly. Really quiet over night and a beautiful location. I will be returning with more time!"

"Unlike many, I do not sleep well in quiet. I knew there was a pub below and my day was a long (8 hours alone at the Warner Studios) & a tiring one so the noise allowed me to fall asleep immediately. I woke up only once when it had gone quiet, very quiet for being on an artery, and that did not stop me from going right back to sleep. The only wrinkle was on leaving. "We found the staff were really nice and,friendly nothing was to much trouble for any of the girls maria was lovely every day we had breakfast she new what drinks we wanted also the blonde girl who was on the bar at night was great so was the other two girls but, we didn't know there names which was a shame because i could but, there names here food was good at night too so was breakfast the room were really clean we would go back there anytime if we were around ther part of the country"

"There was a bit of mould on the grouting in the bathroom and some paint touch-up is required on the heating pipe in the bedroom area. The sash window and frame could do with some sprucing-up and aircon in the room is required. I understand that it is a period building, but I like modern conveniences too."

"Good stay at the Pear Tree Inn! Staff were great, calling me as I was arriving late and sending across a AVT invoice quickly (as there is no one there on checkout)! There is no hairdryer in the room - I didn’t realise this until the morning and there was no one downstairs to ask! "

"I stayed here when it was Theobalds Park and the hotel is going through a full renovation which can make the place look totally unfinished. The only negative was that there was no work desk in my room - but I was told that this is going to be rectified and most room do have a desk. I would definitely stay again "
