"Sent the same enquiry three times before arrival - no response. Arrived exhausted at 1am. Given a room key that didn't work. Returned to lobby for replacement plus spare. Back up to the room only to find neither worked and could hear people in the room walking up. Back down a third time to be given a shabby room on its last legs. All in all a bit of a dump. Not recommended at all."

"Breakfast okay, staff very friendly and welcoming.Good bar with selection of drinks. Toilet in my room could do with more scrubbing. Hotel is set in beautiful grounds; also close to Piccadilly line underground station. Standard rooms have no air conditioning. All in all lovely place. I will definitely stay again."

"The rooms were very large, the ensuite was clean and toiletries were provided. The only suggestion would be for the floorboards in the room above Sopwell (ground floor) to be screwed down as these were squeaky when the occupant in the room above was moving around which woke us up as the squeaks were quite loud.
The free parking was great and the system was easy to use, the instructions sent prior to arrival were clear for the check-in and checkout process.
