"The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...

We got there, my aunt in her scooter, automatic doors broken for 12 months, we had to pull the doors wide enough to get through, lady at desk said there were no accessibility rooms. I asked what were we to do? She said sorry, there are none We paid up front a month prior. She told us the rooms we were given had walk in shower, which it did not. "The location is good and my bed was superb. But the hotel has some polishing to do. My room appeared to be in mid-renovation (eg, plumbing issues, furniture not fully set up). I was offered another room. It could be nice once they are done updating."
