"Good layover stay"

"This is an excellent, brand new hotel located in downtown Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It has an ultramodern feel, with conveniences I wish every hotel had, such as self check-in and a water bottle filling station outside the room. The location is ideal, especially for those planning to use the port (e.g., for a cruise) and TFS airport, since the bus station is only a 20 minute walk away. Un seul bemol, les rues sont etroites, il est mieux d'avoir un petit vehicule. Les proprietaires cubains font aussi restaurant. Die Diversität des Frühstücks war fantastisch, auch nach 1 Woche war das Frühstück immernoch spannend und sehr lecker. "There is so much to be impressed by at this hotel. When walking through the main entrance you are surrounded by Spanish culture. The breakfast has everything you would expect in a big hotel croissants, coffee, cereal, cheeses and meat etc. but in a beautiful Spanish room. There is a sitting room with piano, a small library with table. The room had lots of beautiful furnishings. The balcony had table and two chairs. Everything in the Expedia photos is what you will see."

"To start the trip, the staff at the front desk was lovely which made our initial impression positive. As we entered the villa there were ants on the counter tops and in the bathroom. As our stay progressed, the ant infestation got progressively worse. We finally decided to speak to the receptionists, where they told us it was our fault for not coming earlier to report the problem. A man entered our room without us knowing to clean out the ants. They did not give us any compensation for this....

"Schlafzimmer mit Bad auf einer Empore. Das Bad befand sich am Ende ohne direkte Belüftung und fest zu schließen der Tür (nur eine recht offene Milchglasschiebetür) unmittelbar neben dem Bett. Daher war die Belüftung der Toilette und Dusche direkt neben dem Bett war nicht gut gelöst, auch der Zugang mit hellen Licht ist bei Benutzung alleine kein Problem, zu zweit sehr störend. Treppe zum Schlafbereich und Bad hatte zwei wackelnde Holzstufen. "
