A world away from southern Tenerife

Amazing entrance foyer with friendly reception staff. Rooms are large and quiet. Everything in San Cristóbal is within walking distance of hotel. Can’t wait to stay here again.

The hotel is nicely located in the historic district of the town with easy flat walking to its many traditional bars and cafes. The interior is beautifully restored and the staff are friendly and professional. Parking if required is about 3 minutes away, it’s pay as you leave and a full 24hrs is €7,50. We had a one of the restored rooms facing onto the street but although there was some traffic rumbles it caused us no trouble. The only thing stopping a full 5 stars was the paper thin walls between rooms and the music from the restaurant under the floor which played loudly till after midnight in some cases. The couple in the next room had exotic after hours activities which we didn’t want to hear.

Clean room, staff was accommodating. Breakfast was decent but not many options. Dinner was nicely presented but main dishes can be quite salty. We were told they had parking but when we arrived, we were told it was closed and had to find local parking lot which was a struggle when staff is not able to give you a Google location of it and directs it on a paper map. It would have been helpful if the hotel could notify us about that prior to arrival.

Beautiful and lovely service! Air conditioning not great (can’t control your room temperature), pool freezing and hit tub didn’t work. Otherwise, great breakfast, very clean, great walkable area, excellent service

The breakfast was really nice, there was a wide variety of dishes offered. The hotel in geberal was nice and clean. However, you could hear the other guests in the adjacent rooms or the hall. The rooftop pools was excellent, although a bit cold.
