We had a fantastic 4 night stay at the Hotel Duques de Medinacelli. Luis and Carmen served us our scrumptious breakfasts, dinner, and snacks and they were fabulous. Charming so attentive, and ready to help us with anything. We were a party of six so they always had our table ready on the patio. The hotel is old world gorgeous and the terrace was a great place to relax between our sightseeing visits and a lovely place to have a night cap. Our rooms were large and so clean. They even provide a beach bag and towels. Thank you to all of the lovely employees who made our stay so memorable.

The hotel was charming with friendly and helpful staff and elegant rooms. We were unlucky however as our room faced into a light well with opposing windows a short distance away. The grounds had huge potential but were unkempt and the water in the small pool appeared stagnant and covered with leaves. There appeared to be no outdoor areas to lounge.

Una atención impecable , desde la recepción hasta el último rincón de ese magnífico jardín que te retrotrae a mucho tiempo atrás ,se respira una paz ,un trato personalizado, profesional y cariñoso de todos sus componentes. Para aquellos que quieran ver modernidad no lo recomiendo en absoluto , porque lo que si que hay es historia en cada mueble, en cada cuadro, en cada rincón , no hay muebles viejos , hay muebles antiguos y maravillosos , cada detalle es precioso cuidado y con gusto en un edificio espectacular . Recomendamos este establecimiento a todos aquellos que quieran tener una experiencia inolvidable. Enhorabuena pues a ese gran equipo que trabaja para que sus clientes puedan disfrutar. An old Duke's palace converted into a hotel. Exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens but the hotel is definitely not 5 star even though the prices are. The rooms are poorly laid out and old fashioned. The pool area is not well maintained and the pool itself is small. The hotel needs a refresh in general. It's a pity that when something is advertised as 5 starts it turn out to be a little be less than the sum of its parts.

Great hotel, worth every penny

Amazing Spanish building, looks and feels like a palace from the Renaissance era. Exquisite service, very very clean, reasonable prices and very good food. Parking is free and in a secured interior courtyard. It also have a beautifully manicured garden
