"Great location, very friendly staff. However, the first-floor room we stayed in was awful: Windows face the covered patio so no sunlight and no privacy—shades had to stay down, so you're basically staying in a tiny broom closet. AC control panel lights up the room at night. You can hear the subway go by at regular intervals, and we were awoken at 4am by a really loud, jarring jackhammer-type noise. Mentioned this to front desk and in post-stay survey, zero real response other than "so sorry."...

"Booked this hotel due to the central location. Stayed here for two nights. Checked in on a Saturday and left early Monday morning. After a long day in the city on Sunday, we got back to our room and to our surprise, it had not been cleaned. Bed wasn’t made, no new towels, trash wasn’t changed, etc. House keeping did NOT visit our room at all during our stay. This is extremely odd and unacceptable.
