"The room was nice and spacious and everything was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was recently fixed up and clean, but very average. Unfortunately almost all of the hotels in downtown Detroit are not very nice, unless you stay at a five star hotel. I wasn't aware of that going into it, so keep it in mind. I felt perfectly safe walking around during the day as a solo female traveler. At night, it was always busy in town so I'm sure it would be safe as well."

"Very well appointed room. Decor was artsy-modern. Excellent location with places to sit and wait for rideshare vehicles. Unfortunately, I did expect some hospitality touches such as bottled water being provided in the room or a efficient way to have dishes cleared away after room service, for the price point. However, none of that was present or evident. Kitchen of the attached redo closed earlier than expected, even on a holiday Sunday. Overall, lovely stay"
