"Overall, our hosts Francois and Wynn were very welcoming and helpful with local amenities. The breakfasts that were presented were both nutritious and gourmet delicious. We found our bed a little too firm after the first night, so Wynn cheerfully added a “topper” for comfort. "Excellent hotel. Clean spacious rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of amenities, parking, staff courteous and helpful, everything works, restaurant also very good, very good location near the harbour, close enough to access all the benefits of downtown but also far away enough to avoid all the noise and carnage of city nightlife. Close to public transport stops as well. Good value for money. Has everything you want, no need to go to more expensive ostentatious places. Cannot recommend it enough."

"Sofa bed is old with spring mattress....not good sleeping for more than a couple of nights. Needs replacing, maybe with air mattress!!!!"

"Das Magnolia ist ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage. Das Personal ist wahnsinnig bemüht, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, großzügig und die Dusche im Zimmer war mit die beste, die wir in Kanada hatten. Es gibt kostenloses Wasser im Zimmer, sowie Kaffee und Tee.
