"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"This was my 2nd time staying in the French Quarter. I knew we would be walking and ubering a lot. This property was budget friendly and conveniently located to many attractions, including Jackson Square, Bourbon St, and Cafe du Monde. The uber was able to pull right up to the hotel and was available very quickly each time. "5 day stay was awesome. The staff were super friendly and responsive. The boudin balls at the Vacherie restaurant were the best we had. The only thing that was missing was a microwave in the deluxe room to heat up leftovers. Will definitely go back there again."
