"I was very impressed with the quality of the housekeeping. They did a nice job on the room each day and i even saw them mopping the elevator floor several times."

"Breakfast was decent and they had a variety of things to choose from, property have a decent lobby spacious also have activities as well. Overall it was a decent place to stay. Surrounding area outside was a bit sketchy from the drug addicts outside. "

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"The room looked like someone already had stayed in it"

"This was an awful stay. I called upon arrival in the room to report a CLOGGED shower drain and a broken phone. I was told Engineering would visit to resolve. The next morning I went IN PERSON to report this issue because no one had came. I was assured it would be fixed. It was NOT. I showered for 3 days in a PUDDLE of water with DRAIN FLIES and NO PHONE. Location was good, customer service and cleanliness was abhorrent. "

"Started with the ease of booking , to the contact to confirm stay, to the most welcoming smiles as soon as you enter. French Market Inn was clean, comfortable, and located perfectly. Loved the ambiance and old world charm. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly"

"Staff upon arrival was extremely rude. Requested credit card never told me what it was for or even gave me pricing or receipt upon leaving the hotel. never told me what room floor was on or anything. I just had to look at the number written on the card and figure it out. was never given any information on any amenities or restaurant or bars that the hotel had either."

"EVERY front desk associate I interacted with was very professional amd courteous. I arrived way early for my check-in as our cruise ship docked at 8am and the location is only minutes away, though they couldn't accommodate me right then; they checked on me and made sure my stay was comfortable. Meant a lot to me because unfortunately you don't get that as often these days. Great Job Hampton Inn (Convention)"

"The staff here in particular the front end (Betsy) and the gentleman who held our bags were phenomenal. I would recommend a change in the pillows and the flooring, it was soft in some spots. The beds were comfortable. The balcony view was great. The location was good to all amenities. Noise level was low near Bourbon street. I would have enjoyed lounging at the pool, however there were only 3 Thank you!"

"I chose this place so we could do laundry on our road trip. The laundry was easily accessible and easy to operate. The room was clean, bright, had all the amenities we needed and we were in a safe and sound. We stayed for 4 nights and we would stay there again and again in our future visits "
