"We spent a week at Barcelo Barbara Palace. The service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly. The food was excellent and there was a ride variety of all types of dishes for Young and Old that you could choose from. The resort is big but well organized so it doesn’t take much to get from one area to another. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a terrific getaway for families or groups of adults. "

"The staff aren’t very friendly in all places and not all have great English, tips are expected to get better/friendly service. Our server at the sports bar was very unpleasant. Several people in my group had issues with their rooms, but ours was great! Housekeepers were very friendly, and easy check in. The resort itself was huge and close to the water! Food was average, and drinks were great :)"

If you’re in the mood to party, there are lively pools, the main beach entrance area, and lots of theme nights that keep the energy going well into the evening. "Our stay was wonderful. We had wonderful help from Héctor who was our butler. He helped us with everyday questions to restaurant reservations. He was so helpful. Our rooms were clean and staff very prompt on cleaning the rooms. The beach here was ok but just off site to the west (directly off site. 2 min walk) was a great lagoon to swim in. The pools here are big and very fun for all the family. I found the food at the buffet ok but the restaurants were very good. "
