"Lovely place to stay. We actually added another 2 nights it was so relaxing. Elenor on reception was very helpful. Only criticism was the food in restaurant wasn’t up to much, staff didn’t know whose table ordered what. We were told not to start eating in case it was someone else’s! Total lack of staff, that’s my only complaint. Could never get through on the phone, just rang off the hook."

"There was no AC in the room which was a bit of a problem for us while sleeping as it was summer otherwise great location, great property, great staff, very spacious rooms. "

"We loved our one night stay at Lords of the Manor Hotel. It was a unique experience to stay in this beautiful English manor. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and elegantly furnished, with high quality amenities. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The gardens and grounds are amazing! Upper Slaughter is a beautiful little town to explore. You can easily walk to Lower Slaughter by a trail behind the hotel gardens. Thank you!"

The restaurant served excellent food and we followed the restaurant to sheep restaurant at stow-on the wold, as We couldn’t get enough of it. Will Definitely return. "
