"This hotel is an easy bus ride from Heathrow. RailAir A1 from bay 12 level 0 Terminal 2 (and 5). It is also next to Winnersh Rail station. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was superb. Wide selection of traditional fare and East Indian cuisine available throughout the day. The wine list was well above average. "While we could overlook that the hotel was a little tired, staff were excellent, I was disappointed around the transparency about the pool rules and access for kids. Described as family friendly kids were limited to very restricted hours and space in the pool and unable to use the outdoor pool area and required to use the disabled toilet as a change room. It gave the impression that kids were a hinderance to the target, adult market of the spa. We booked the hotel especially because of the pool....
