I was very surprised at the size of our room ,and how quiet it was ... Staff where very friendly and helpful ,especially the young man who worked the night shift on reception who kindly brought me extra molk xx

The staff, luxury, dining and service were superb. Our stay was slightly let down by the room. Comfortable and quiet with potential to be perfect but bathroom ceiling needs repainting (stained) grout needs cleaning or replacing, furniture needs touching up (chipped and stained) desk lamp bulb needs replacement, tv did not provide guest services as advertised, no information booklet or menus in room, coffee machine leaked.

Friendly staff in lovely venue
Great stay over Christmas period. Lovely breakfast and friendly service. Great venue as well with lots of history. Checkin was quick and easy. Easy to walk into town (about 40 mins). Room was quite small and not much space for suitcase, room wasn’t serviced during stay and was only made aware that this would happen on Christmas Day.
