"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"The property was perfect. Clean, well maintained and the staff was kind and always ready to help. The only thing we had to watch the charges on our bill. For some reason they were charging an extra $10 a day for Valet parking. They were apologetic and fixed the problem daily."

"We couldn’t use the TV system because the system is not “ random “ password acceptable and our phone doesn’t accept such a non- safe wifi system. We could not watch anything using the TV. You should tell guests when they check in. Otherwise, we don’t know what to do with it."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay at the Stevenson Monterey. I was fortunate to have a quiet corner room on the third floor, which turned out to be the perfect place to relax after long days of exploring. The location was one of the biggest highlights. I didn't get in my car to drive somewhere at all during my stay. Alta Bakery, Ad Astra Bread Co., Trader Joe's, and several excellent restaurants were all within easy walking distance. "The hotel is very dated but location is super. Nice employees. Parking was difficult as the farmer's market was going on. Suggestion: have employees parking on street so parking is available to guests. Breakfast was good but we had to ask for yogurt/fruit. Most people didn't even know they offered it. It was very good. We also had to ask for a glass of wine at early evening hour. Maybe have a bottle of wine and glasses out would have been better organized? Or a note saying ask front...
