"Very nice hotel close to main Monterey activities such as Aquarium or Fisherman's Wharf. Spacious rooms with a fireplace, comfy beds, large TV with casting and lots of channels, excellent shower. Full hot breakfast well exceeded our expectations - their quiches and links were really good! Add complimentary wine and cheese tasting during happy hour as a cherry on top. Not the cheapest accommodation there and parking is not free, but still well worth it!"

"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"The Monterey Bay Inn is a quality boutique inn right on the water situated between Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row. Easy walking to everything you want to see and do. Very clean and straightforward. We would stay here again."

"We loved everything about our stay but the fact that the two things that we wanted to use most were unable to be used, which is our Jacuzzi bath tub with the Jets, not working in there and also the fireplace that was not working at this time. we feel like we couldn’t get the full experience with those two things not working. One of the most beloved things there was the staff member Tehilia (apologize if spelled wrong) was super sweet, kind, and very helpful during our stay."

The staff are all very kind and seem genuinely happy to be there. Everyone slept great and a requested crib was already in our room. "I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay at the Stevenson Monterey. I was fortunate to have a quiet corner room on the third floor, which turned out to be the perfect place to relax after long days of exploring. The location was one of the biggest highlights. I didn't get in my car to drive somewhere at all during my stay. Alta Bakery, Ad Astra Bread Co., Trader Joe's, and several excellent restaurants were all within easy walking distance. We had a ground floor room but you could hear the people walking at all hours of the night in the room above. That was really the only negative. I would definitely stay there again."
