"This is an exceptionally charming B/B. The views from the front parlors are breathtaking-we saw a number of sea otters and even a couple of sea lions. The location is perfect, right across the street from the beach! About a half mile from the Monterey Bay aquarium. The daily breakfasts: outstanding. Highly recommend!"

"Great stay in Monterey! The room was very clean and well kept, which made the stay comfortable right away. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus with plenty of good options to start the day, and the Wi-Fi was reliable and fast. Another big plus was the location — it’s within walking distance to downtown, which made it easy to explore the area without needing to drive. Overall a great experience and I’d definitely stay...

"From arriving we felt welcomed. We arrived on time for refreshments. We enjoyed a glass of wined and charcuterie. Our room was cozy and clean. We felt at home. "We stayed at the Stevenson Hotel AFTER the Labor Day holiday, and so there was not any huge crowd in town…. We walled to Fisherman’s Wharf and walked to breakfast in downtown Monterey….. Lots of great breakfast options in downtown. We drove 4 minutes to the Cannery Row and had a great dinner and went to the Aquarium…. The Stevenson Hotel had underground parking and so felt safe staying on the upper floor using the elevator… no problem…. Great massaging showerhead…. Clean rooms"
