"My wife and I had a wonderful 5-night stay there. Our suite was comfortable and quiet, with a pleasant balcony where we enjoyed to sit. The staff is excellent across the board-- front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance. The breakfast was good. The central location is very convenient. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Monterey."

"I enjoy this little spot. It's right on the edge of cannery row and has the trapping of a moderate hotel. The remodel that's fine but not a full upgrade. A shower head that feels cheap. Carpet when wood or laminate would help."

"We only stayed two nights and experienced one room, so there are other reviewers with different experiences. Our room was a bit dark and the lighting options limited so we were unable to set the rooms ambience to our liking. Also, there was only a patio door to let in fresh air, no windows we could keep open at night when we slept. The breakfast offerings were limited, especially when considering the food options in the area. And the area did provide some highlight to our stay. Great location with many fun places to see and experience all within walking distance. Once you park your car at this hotel, you won’t want to take it out of the very tight parking lot! Scary small area with very tight parking spots!"
