"Great location! Beautiful property. Friendly Staff. Carpet in the room could use a good scrub. Bathroom was large so was confused as to why there wasnt more counter space installed. Could hear every step from guests upstairs so I would suggest a higher floor. But overall place was super unique and cool and romantic vibes. I would stay here again if I'm ever lucky enough to visit the area again"

"Our 5-day stay at the Kimpton Mirador was...fine. The biggest upside was that it allows for dogs of any size, so we weren't restricted by our 70lb dog. Overall, the building is very nice - well kept, lovely staff, nice room, etc. It's in a great location - close to the water as well as to the main street, and a 20ish minute walk from downtown Monterey. "The location of the hotel was nice and quiet. In the night it was a bit cold so I was going to use the extra blanket that is available with an extra pillow that’s located in the closet. When I got it you can clearly see long strands of hair inside. So I didn’t open it and just left the bag on the floor. When I checked out I was asked how my stay was and said fine other than the blanket and mentioned I had left it on the floor so they didn’t think it was clean and they can attend to it. When I...

"The property was small but convenient to stay for few days. The staff are friendly and answered my questions. The room was clean and they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion too. Which is really nice! They even have keurig for coffee! They also clean our room without us asking for it. The only thing was we can hear people from outside and upstairs. Overall it was really good place to stay in. Will stay here when I visit Carmel again. Everything was so close here!"

"Cute from the outside and pretty clean but the rooms and the beds, were very small. The walls were paper thin and the AC noisy. The pillows were uncomfortable and overall none of us got a good nights sleep. We spent 8 nights on a CA roadtrip and unfortunately this hotel was the one we couldn’t wait to leave."

"The property is crammed behind a gas station so you get a lot of noise. The room smelled like old cigarette smoke, probably trapped in the outdated curtains. The room was clean though. The refrigerator did not work and there is not a microwave."

"I have stayed at this hotel before and it was great but not so much this time. First of all I am partly disabled. We were assigned a room in one of the other buildings, not the main one. There was no elevator in that building and we were given a room on the second floor. My wife had to carry the luggage up the stairs while I had a very difficult time getting up the stairs each time. "We enjoyed the pool area and the room was very nice"

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good with bacon, eggs, tater tots, instant oatmeal, make your own waffles, yogurt... To my surprise , the yogurt from the dispenser machine was really good with extra granola mixed. We definitely will stay here again next time."
