"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"Room was super clean with a very nicely updated shower. The location was everything! 5 min walk down to the beach with tide pools. Easy drive into downtown pacific grove. We biked down to Monterey along the water, gorgeous views"

"Property is really clean and sophisticated. There is wine/ cocktail hour from 5-6pm which was so lovely. Check in was quick and easy and the rooms were spacious and elegant. They offered pet supplies if we needed. :) My only complaint was our bathroom faucet didn’t have any running hot water at all. The Gym was well equipped and the staff was so friendly. Will definitely stay there if I’m ever in Monterey again."

"Everything was great...no complaints...however, if I were picky... you cannot turn on the shower without getting wet. period. That means, part of you will get a shock of cold water before you can climb into the shower. Ok, Not a deal killer, just back design."

No need to log in to apps on the television to make things work. The staff was helpful. The pool was a great space and I was glad they provided towels. It was warm and clean. I would definitely stay here again. It was close enough to the wharf and only a short drive to additional sites."

"parking was bad, It was a hassle every time. Tried to book an extra day and was told it was no longer available; and then was charged. Hotel was advised as a pay at check- in but was charged four days after I reserved. The floor in the room was extremely creeky as well as the bed and wardrobe. The walls were extremely thin as if you were in a home and had to keep your voice down. this was definitely more of a bread and breakfast inn than a hotel. it was surface level clean, but there were stains...

"Quaint place and centrally located with available parking. We had a room with a fireplace and they gave us a complimentary artificial log which burned cleanly for over three hours and made the stay there even more romantic."
