"Property owners are very nice. Showed me the entire inn. Answered all my questions. The bathrooms and beds were very clean. Kitchen was spotless. Would stay there again."

"The accommodations were spartan but clean we had the "Family Room", the owner very nice and helpful. The bathroom and shower were fine. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together.It is 15 minute walk to the station and to Byodo-in (main attraction in Uji) There are no food options close by but kitchen access was available. The only real problem is that for anyone who has mobility issues, access to the room was 2 flights of very steep narrow stairs."

"Alles bestens. Kaffee gibt es an der Rezeption kostenfrei. Die Zimmer sind modern und sehr sauber. Jeden Tag wurde tip top gereinigt. Sehr zentrale Lage in der Nähe vom Bahnhof kyoto. Es liegt in einer kleinen Gasse von daher auch sehr ruhig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. "

"朝食付き，とあったので安さで決めました。が、いざ行ってみたら"朝食あり"で申込まないと駄目との事。でも安価で申し込むと自動的に食事無しになる(客は知らない)仕組みになっています。出掛けた先からホテルに帰るバスの案内が無く、ホテル従業員さえ知らず"タクシーに乗っても2千円以内だ"と案内するので乗ったら3千円以上になり次の日はバス乗り場が分からず2時間30分迷いました。交通機関は表示するか従業員がきちんとバス乗り場やバス時間等を把握しておいて欲しいです。それは基本的なサービスではないでしょうか？"

"This was a 10/10 stay. The staff is amazingly quick, kind and efficient which made our stay so peaceful and easy. We had all of our needs met and even got complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the day! They have various maps and brochures detailing all hotspots in Kyoto with staff recommendations on places to eat nearby. The hotel even assists with the luggage forwarding process. They make it very seamless and easy. Overall we had a fantastic time at the Comfort Era. Very very accomodating...
