"This was my first time visiting Kyoto, and I highly recommend this hotel! The check-in process was very smooth, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was quite spacious, and all the facilities were new and very clean. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the kettle, hairdryer, and shower were all great. The hotel staff were always willing to help with any questions or requests. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto!"

"Fantastic hotel and a great way to experience Japanese living. Not quite what I would call a full ryokan, our room fortunately had it's own bathroom and tub, while still having the tatami matt floor and futons. The tub was a deep soaker and set up to provide a private onsen experience. We really enjoyed our stay"

Every table is given a "Table Occupancy Card" where guests can comfortably leave the dining table without worrying that it's may be taken by another guest whole collecting food or waiters clearing the table when guests or when guests are not at the table but haven't leave the restaurant yet.
