Beautiful location! We where in an ocean-view suite and it was like paradise. The food is also really good. The only thing that was less good was the amount of lounge-chair. Only 4 for all the guests of the resort.

Very beautiful property with lovely sunrises over the sea. Good options for visiting islands by boat, kayaking, snorkeling etc though the setup is slightly rustic. If you are going in the hot season though, beware that the air conditioning is underpowered and rooms get quite hot though the staff were able to provide us with a couple of fans.

My husband and I stayed for almost a week and I wish we were there longer. The employees were great, and the food was amazing. There's not much to do outside of the hotel, but for us that didn't matter because we spent the majority of our time on the beach relaxing. Thank you Titi and Ausi (not sure I'm spelling the names right) for the spa services, Anwar from the restaurant was great also. I wish I could remember everyone's name that we came in contact with because they were all great. We'll definitely be back!

If you are looking for a place just to relax and enjoy the beach - this is it! Great for people who are traveling with very young children or a couple who just want to get away and enjoy a good book.

A little haven reachable within 2 hours from Spore

Being a rather commercialised island that Bintan is, Trikora is a rare find if you are looking for serenity and tranquility. The resort only has a total of 25 rooms/villas, and there is ample space to feel the ultimate privacy at all times. Activities are limited so you can focus on the sun, sea and sand! The only not so wonderful part is the quality of the food served at their one and only restaurant, hopefully it is only because I have been unlucky with my choices, otherwise it is a perfect getaway for anyone who wishes to de-fragment and to de-stress from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Nice hotel, close to the beach. Pool was good and clean. The rooms had a nice urban experience. Staff was very helpful however some of the dining staff had limited understanding of English which needs to be improved. More variety of food selection at breakfast and dinner can be improved

Wonderful beachside location

But sadly the road runs quite close too so road noise in the evenings and early mornings is a nuisance. However it didn’t spoil our wonderfully restful few days here.

Corner of heaven

Trikora Resort is amazing! It gives you a kampong feeling, yet being clean, modern, safe and super comfortable. It's quiet, with great food, and excellent massage service. I'm really looking forward to go back to this corner of heaven. The staff was always friendly and helpful, trying their best to accommodate all our logistic requests.

Entspannung aber nur für Naturliebhaber

Wer Eco möchte kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Aber eben nicht beim Preis. Die Häuser sind offen gebaut, so dass wir trotz zweimaligem Umzug in ein neues Zimmer die Tierwelt der sonst trostlosen Umgebung im Zimmer hatten. Wer darüber hinweg sehen kann, kann sicher auch die sonst sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage und den Strand genießen. Der Pool ist super, der Strand so lala. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und im Rahmen ihrer Möglichkeiten bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Fazit 3 Sterne Hotel zum 5 Sterne Preis.

Original style, harmony and 100% relaxation

We loved the authentic and original style and interior decor in rooms. Simple yet stylish and in harmony with surrounding nature. Location right at the Beach on the east coast provided a constant lovely sea breeze/wind. Outstanding staff who really made us feel welcome and at home.

Beach front resort - nice food.

Unfortunately our room backed onto a main road and due to the thin roof construction amplified the road traffic which meant we were getting up at 6am. Other rooms are further away from the road though so you may be lucky. Other than that it has a nice infinity pool and they can also organise a good boat snorkelling tour which i would reccomend as the water is a bit cloudy with sand near the resort so visibility isn't great. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Prices were inflated relative to the surrounding area but not ridiculously so. Was popular with families with children so bear this in mind if you dont like kids!

Nice location, very serene.

Good location, far from the madness, very rustic. Food quality and service (no phones in the room, is a lil painful) can be improved. We were all adults, hence managed fine, ppl with kids may have some challenge, though there were families with small kids and seemed comfortable.

Perfect place

It was the most calm and beautiful vacation I've ever had. The rooms are clean, the pool is super nice and the beach is close to the rooms. The food price is also reasonable.

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Trikora. The friendly staff are kind, attentive and truly hospitable. The beach is scenic and the property provides a perfect weekend getaway.

seclude but noisy

very secluded location, had the beach all to our selves, hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. inhouse dinner choices are scarce. suggestions: secure your tax trip returning to the ferry beforehand, the hotel arranged one was over priced. rent a moped from the hotel staffs and venture outside for local food.
