A bit late here for a review, but stayed in late June. Friendly and accommodating to us who failed to read the hotel rules and had a couple of awkward moments with late arrivals and service needs! Really appreciated the homey, peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful authentic antique structure with just the right modern conveniences and Great access to our choice garden visits in the area. we would definitely stay again Thank you Julio! love the white Hydrangeas

After changing our room we had an excellent stay. Please note that if you book two single beds and a walk-in shower, you will not stay in the old part of the hotel. That part dates from 1600 and is really beautiful with its history. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Welcoming

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Quiet location. Some road works outside but not disruptive. Excellent breakfast included in price. Near bus route to Hastings.

Large room with lot of storage for clothing. Room was warm. Bed comfortable and slept well. Bathroom clean and shower good. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Hotel decor was tired but added to the charm, Definitely would return

Nice to stay in a non chain hotel

Old Manor House non chain hotel. Therefore traditional values and great service. Rooms as expected not super swish more quirky but comfortable. Room 19 unfortunately (only) has stand in bath shower with no screen which may not suit all. TV was not working but not an issue on one night stay. Food excellent especially breakfast options.
